Through the Form

Henry Moore believed the hole was the sculpture. The void carved through bronze and stone wasn't absence, it was the form itself, making everything around it three-dimensional.

Through the Form turns that philosophy into a game. Visitors to the AGO scan a QR code, grant their phone camera and motion permissions, and see a virtual red ball floating in real space, aligned to a real hole in a real Moore sculpture. Tilt the phone, roll the ball through the void. Success triggers a quote from Moore himself. Built as a WebAR prototype using 8th Wall, Three.js, and device gyroscopes. No app install. Works in any modern mobile browser.
